Hello to my ONLY missionary!
Ryan is home!!! He tore his ACL (in his knee) playing volleyball and needs surgery. Since it is so close to when he was going to come home, it is not considered early! (I guess the mission president has a month leeway). So, we will be getting him in to the surgeon and getting that all processed. It was great seeing him!!! We basically went from the airport to the Stake president for his release. Nala wasn't too sure of him...she is warming up a little bit, but she is still neurotic! ha,ha

We had Stake Conference today. It was nice, however, about 1/2 hour into the conference, I thought I was gonna die with my foot hurting. We went out to the foyer, but all the couches were taken. I went a little ways down the hall (in the stake center) and found chairs that I could sit in with my foot up. I was able to hear the proceedings. They had a broadcast for all of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. The 2nd counselor in the general primary president, our area authority (can't remember his name), Elder Bednar and Elder Scott all spoke. It was all on progressing the work. I really enjoyed Elder Bednar--his "progressing the work" included our personal progression. I think this was something that I was needing to hear. I keep hearing about how important it is that we are doing missionary work (not that it isn't important), but for me, I think I need some internal progression--or missionary work on myself. I have a testimony, but it isn't as strong as it should be. I have really slacked on my scripture reading. I didn't realize how much reading and studying I was doing with Seminary. I have definitely missed it! I guess it hit when Elder Bednar talked about the "extra" meaning of progressing the work. (At least that is what I got out of it!) I have to say that I am really glad that we went!
Ryan is watching the videos that you took of Tiffany when she had her wisdom teeth. ha,ha. We have been trying to "catch him up" on all the stuff...although Tiffany lost the post-it note with everything on it...lol
Oh...you told me to remind you to tell me about Elijah.
FYI...I was so nice, I told Gpa that he and It could come for Thanksgiving dinner. I decided that I can be nice...I don't have to talk to her, and holidays are hard to be alone.
Well, I just took a pain pill and it is starting to make me feel loopy! I am so proud of you! Always remember who you are! Mind your p's and q's. Be strictly obedient. Work as hard as you play! Know that I love you beyond measure!!
