Hey Sweetpea!

How's my most favorite missionary?  I sure hope you have had a GREAT week.  I had a miserable week…I have had a HORRIBLE chest cold!  It has been a good thing that I have been able to stay home and suffer without having to go anywhere…ha,ha.  I have studied for my NCLEX (only a week away),  but that was hard because I could not concentrate too much with a full head!  So far, everyone who has taken the NCLEX from my class has passed…I sure hope I am one of them!

So…I really haven't anything real exciting to talk about…hmmm…let me see.  Oh ya..  So, Gpa and Mary were here for a week.  I was so happy to see them leave on Wednesday…I know, I'm bad.  However, I did talk to both Mary and Gpa about how we would love to have them for short visits, BUT, the house is closed for longer termed visits.  They took it really well…I was surprised.  We just can't handle Gpa coming for 6-7 months at a time! It was hard to outright tell him, but I think he understood.  I think it sure made your dad happy.

This weekend, I started feeling human again (FINALLY).  The house has been a disaster, so I have begun to organize!  I started in the kitchen.  It looks pretty good.  I have organized ALL of the drawers.  All the knives on the counter are gone and all the cooking tools are no longer on the counter…woo hoo.  I even organized the "junk drawer".  I just hope we can keep it.  I need to focus on my studying this week, but I would like to keep organizing.  Uncle Brian came over with his kids today so that I  could help him work on his resume.  They all asked what I did to the kitchen.  They asked if we redid the counter tops….all I could say is…nope, just organized..ha,ha.

Uncle Brian is looking for another job.  He hates working at the shop.  He is only working 32 hours a week…he can't afford that.  He has been building a hot rod. I think he shows it somewhere (don't know where)…Anyhow, the CEO of Lockheed Martin was there and was impressed with what Brian has done on his hot rod.  He told Brian to give him a resume and he would see that it gets into the right hands.  I pray that he will get a job there…I think he will be happier and more successful.  Alex has her permit and was able to drive down here today.  Kind of scary!  I can't believe how old everyone has gotten.

Jessica told me that Danny is crawling everywhere.  I really would love to see him…I told dad that I would like to fly Jessica and Danny out if I pass my NCLEX.  Don't you think that is a great reward for passing???  I thought it was great!  I would fly there to visit, but I believe Dad and Tiffany would not be happy with me…ha,ha!

Well, I really don't have much more to say. :(  Sorry…I want you to always remember who you are!  Always mind your p's and q's.  Be strictly obedient…if you aren't already…start now.  Know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers!  I am so very proud of you!!

I love you!!!

Love Always!
Mom
