Hey Chris!
How's it going? I sure hope all is going well for you!! I have your box all ready and it will be sent tomorrow. It says that it should take 2 days..It isn't anything great…but just know that I sure love you!!!
Unfortunately, my spring break is over :( It really wasn't enough time. I would rather not have this time off. I would rather get done sooner! Oh well…I tried to get a bunch of things done, but….it didn't go as I planned. I get so side-tracked! I ended up sanding the kitchen table (not planned). Then I realized that I was getting nothing else done. The before you know it, it was Wednesday and I had not worked on any of my homework. :( So, I decided to stop all the plans and work on homework…but I ended up getting side tracked. Needless to say, even though I didn't get a lot done, I "chillaxed".
We have a new neighbor (on Nectar) and they are members. The oldest is a 16 year old boy. I guess this boy has been in her seminary class. She is so excited to have a friend live so close. We saw that they were moving in, and ended up inviting them over for dinner. They have 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. The dad is a police officer and the mom is a kindergarten Para at Chinook Elementary School. One of the boys reminds me of how Ryan was when he was little. ha,ha. It is a nice family.
So, good news. Today in church I really enjoyed sacrament…wow, it was pretty awesome! It was our "Easter Program". The speakers were incredible! I was amazed that when one speaker talked about the death of their grandmother. She talked about the experience of being with her when she left this world. It was a beautiful story. Interestingly enough, I did not get upset. Then in Relief Society, I led the music…yep, I stood up and led the opening and closing songs! Interestingly enough, during the week, I had been praying for help. I want to be myself again. Then…I felt as though I needed to write to the Bishop and tell him that I am willing and able to do any calling he needs or wants me to do. I fought the feeling for a few hours. I really didn't want to write to him. I said another prayer and felt the same strong feeling…So, I decided to have faith and emailed him. He emailed me back the same day and thanked me for telling him. He also said that he loves getting your letters. I think that I was able to do the music in Relief Society because I showed the Lord my faith.
So, Jessica went and saw her Doctor on Friday for a normal check up. I guess she is doing good! Little Danny boy is about the size of a pineapple :) I guess that night, she started throwing up …then it started going out both ends. She couldn't keep anything down/in. She was cramping and wasn't sure if she was having contractions, so around 3am, Tim took her to the hospital. It took them over an hour to get an IV started and get blood out of her…she was VERY dehydrated. They gave her a couple of liters of fluid and she was feeling much better. She and the baby are just fine!!
She sent me a few pictures…this first was to show me her new car seat. She is so funny!
Here are some cute belly shots. :)
She is so adorable!!! She is still real puffy. I still worry about her getting pre-eclampsia. So, say extra prayers for her. I think all will go well for her, but I worry because they have a lot going for them in the next couple of weeks. Tim finishes school, then they have to pack up and move to Utah. That is very stressful.
Oh, I forgot to tell you that Brother Call asked me to tell you Hi for him. I guess Chip is doing real good!
Well, I love you and I am so proud of you! Always remember who you are! Know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers!
I love you!!!
Mom
