Hey there Sweet Pea!
How's it going? Just FYI, I have not mailed dad's talk yet…I know, I'm a loser..ha,ha. Actually, I have not been given it yet. I just emailed dad and asked him to either email it to me or print it for me. Hopefully, I will get it mailed this week….we shall see.
It was tough getting back into the swing of things after Spring Break. Work about killed me..ha,ha. I have to say that 12 hour shifts are not easy. It helps that I love the kid I am taking care of. Then for the rest of the week, I had to get back into school. Can I just say that I am so sick of school!?! I think I am burned out. I believe that I won't take any classes this summer. I was going to, but I am so exhausted! We shall see…
I'm working on a stupid research paper and I am having issues. My teacher didn't like my idea…I think after struggling for some time, I think I have an idea of what she is wanted, but not after much struggling!! Then in my other class, we are working on a work project. I got assigned the conclusion..which is no big deal, however, I can't do a conclusion until I know what everyone else is going to do. It is quite frustrating! We are doing a website, it should be fun once everyone does their part. I have been cleaning up things that people have already done. Oh well…I guess I just need to chill.
Your Aunt Linda came to visit on Friday--it was interesting to say the least. She got here and then wanted to go out to eat (is that surprising?). Then we went and got a pedicure and a manicure. I found that we really didn't talk. I have no idea what to say to her. Yes, she calls every day, but she has NOTHING to say either. Yesterday, she called cause she "just wanted to hear my voice". She tried several times to call while I was at work…I told her I was working Saturday morning. I am not allowed to take phone calls when I am at work…I can text though. :)
Speaking of work, I have a tough week ahead, however, I will get paid pretty good. Our week starts on Saturday, so, I worked 6 hours on Saturday, then I work tomorrow (Monday) for 12 hours, and then I work Friday for 12 hours. I will be TIRED! I also have physical therapy for the knee I fell on…that's Tuesday and Thursday. Throw in school work..ugh!
I'm also trying to figure out what to get for Tiffany for her 18th bday…it is on Sunday, the 10th. Not sure what to get for Jessica either. I will have to see how much I can spend on the two of them.
Oh, Gpa and Mary will be here on TT's bday too. They will be here for about a week. They are have a bunch of appointments. One is with the doctor, one with the tax man, ect. Gpa and Mary are filling out their mission papers..isn't that amazing. They go to the temple pretty much weekly. I can say that Mary is heaven sent for Gpa. They get excited when I forward your letters…it is weird, it is like I have a new dad. I bet Gma up in heaven is smiling! I think Sally feels bad that she let gpa go. I told her that she (Sally) will always be a part of our family. I think that is why she was surprised and so happy that you said she could come to the airport. I think when you finally meet Mary, you will LOVE her!
So, did you enjoy conference? I still need to listen to the first session. I always enjoy Uchdorf and Holland. They always seem to help me feel the spirit.
Well, I need to figure out what to see what to make for dinner. I sure love you! I hope you have an awesome week!
