Hey there!
I sure hope you get more emails this week. I am sure it is frustrating to open up your in box and really not have any. I equate it to when I was in Brasil. We would go the the post office box and I would be crushed each time I did not get a letter! (we didn't have email back then). It was bad enough that it took over 3 weeks to receive a letter. I have to say that I am glad the times have changed. Although, I am sure you would love a real letter every once in a while. I will try to be better with that…but it probably won't be until May when I get out of school.
I had a very stressful week!!! First off, Monday, I had to drive to Pueblo and the roads were HORRIBLE! For some reason, I never sleep well the night before, so I was going on <5 hours of sleep. I ended up driving the expedition…but still, it was NOT fun! When we got there, the morning meeting was fine, but when we went out to our areas, it was obvious that it was a holiday!! Everyone was sleeping in. When they got up, they had maybe 15 minutes before their first meeting. I tried to get my client to talk to me, but he refused. Even one of the staff tried to get him to talk to me, but to no avail. Then they went in to lunch, and had another meeting right afterwards, but we had to leave. So, I was unable to get the information for my write up. So, I am behind!!! This scares me a little, because we have this week and next and our class is over. It has been snowing quite a bit here and I worry about my drive down tomorrow!
This doesn't show a that there is a lot, but we got between 6 and 8 inches and are supposed to get more this afternoon…they even cancelled church today!
Back to last Monday. We did get to do something fun when we left our area. We went over and they did acupuncture on us. We each had 5 needles in each ear. Here is a horrible picture of me, but you can see the pink things in our ears…lol
ok, I admit, it hurt going in, but it was actually relaxing, you can probably tell by how everyone is just vegging out…lol
Then when I got home on Monday, Dad and Tiffany and I, went to the YMCA (did I tell you that we started up our subscription again?) and worked out for an hour. By the time we were done, I was so exhausted, I just wanted to cry! Your sweet dad ended up taking me out to dinner, then I went to bed by 8:00, I was asleep by 8:15 lol.
Tuesday, I had to drive TT to school since she forgot to wipe off her windshield and she would be late to school. I don't think this went over very well with me! I also had an eye appointment and a visiting teaching appointment. I also had a test to take on-line. UGH!! So much to do. I ended up getting a 94/100 on that test. (would have loved to do better…but oh well) Then I had to write a paper, and study for my psych test. I felt as though I went non-stop! My test in Psych was a bit scary! I think because our whole grade depends upon 3 tests! (150 points!) I got an 86% on the first one, I ended up with a 90% on this weeks. I really wanted a better score. I don't think I can get an A in this class. :( bummer, oh well, a B works. :)
Are you ready for your Jessica Picture?
She just keeps getting bigger and bigger. :) I still think she is cute!
So, here's to a better week! :)
I am so proud of you! And I Love you!
Love, Mom
