This week has been sort of slow, but I have not really felt good, so that is actually good. I was going to do an NCLEX (rn test) review class up in Denver and decided at the last minute to change when I do it. So that will be in January now. I did a lot of laying around not doing anything. I think I have an ulcer, so I have started taking medication to help it. Hopefully it will resolve soon. I hate having my stomach hurt. It really isn't nausea, it just HURTS! Hopefully, it will ease up soon!
Since I just laid around, I can't remember really what I did. Oh, I got my laundry all caught up…maybe not folded…but clean! ha,ha. My birthday was on Thursday. Everyone forgot it seemed…Jessica ended up texting dad and then he took me out to dinner.
Friday, I finished up laundry (folding too). Then I packed for our trip. Dad came home and we had to go to his work Christmas party. I was better this year then previous years. I think it was the people we sat with. There was a young couple who are engaged. He is from Ireland…loved his accent! There was another couple with a 9 month old little boy…oh my goodness he was ADORABLE! HHe wouldn't let anyone touch him…He kept smiling at me, so I finally got him to come to me. His mom said that he normally doen't let ANYONE but his parents touch him. I felt pretty special…ha,ha.
Saturday, we drove ALL DAY to Arizona. Man that is a LOOOOOOONG drive! It was nice to spend time with Dad and Tiffany.
Today, we went to the branch on the reservation. Diana had to play the piano and sing for their Christmas program. I tell you, the spirit was so strong! I ended up in tears…it has been so long since I have felt that way in a sacrament meeting. I really miss the small type ward/branch. Anyhow, it was nice!
