Hey Sweet boy!
Whasssssuuuuuuppp?? How's it goin? Things have been calming down here. I am almost afraid to say that because then maybe it will go wild again…lol
So, you knew I hurt my knee on Monday. I am so glad that I didn't break the kneecap! It is still black and blue and hurts like the dickens. Oh well! I still hope that it continues to heal--the quicker the better! So fun, I have other bruises too…yuk! ha,ha, Oh well!
I went back to work on Wednesday--in the evening. I worked from 6pm - 10pm. I don't like that shift--but it was ok. I really do like taking care of my "little friend". He is so special! I feel it a privalege to care for a celestial being!
The working has made homework a challenge. I get so tired after working! The next day, I don't feel like doin anything! I really need to get my groove on..ha,ha. Tiffany had a concert on Thursday night…I was glad when it was over…ha,ha. Not very nice of me. I just don't really like concerts.
WOW…I think when there is drama, it is easier to write….ugh!
Saturday, Dad and I went to Denver to meet with our finacial advisor…basically so he could tell us how our retirement planning is doing. It is doing pretty good. We spent the afternoon there. We met up with Uncle Rick. He sure seems miserable! I feel bad for him. Sandy is always sick and he has to do everything. He doesn't get any support from his ward. He just looks tired! I am hoping that one day, things will go better for him.
During Sacrament today, we had an interesting meeting. Brother Garrett had surgery and thought he would bounce back--but he didn't. He was supposed to ask people to speak and this didn't happen. So the Bishop decided to have a "different" sacrament meeting. Basically, we had a "music testimony". People came up and bore a quick testamony about their favorite song. Then we sang one verse. It was AWESOME!!! The spirit was so strong. I don't think anyone wanted sacraent to end. It was pretty awesome! I am so glad the bishop had us do that!
I am so proud of you! Keep working hard! Know that we love you beyond measure! I am so grateful that you are my son!!
Love,
Mom
