Hey Chris…How's it going? We made it to Utah. It is sure a LOOOOONG drive! We stayed at Kayla's house until today. We were going to stay an extra night, but Kayla decided to come home early…she was having a miscarriage. I guess this is the 2nd one in 3 months. I am sure she would appreciate some extra prayers.
We picked up Siera from BYU on Thursday night. Ryan had no clue. He ended up arriving around 4 in the morning. I had him sleep on the couch. I guess around 6:30am, Siera couldn't wait any longer and woke him up. He was exhausted but very happy!!! It was kind of cute!
Friday we met up with Jess and Tim so that I could hug on Danny. :) He is getting so big! He is ADORABLE! I don't think I can get enough of him!! Cindy met up with us and we all went out to lunch…here are the pictures.
Lunch wasn't too bad, but it was VERY filling! We ended up back at Jess & Tim's. Dad had a little "Danny Time"…
That night, we went to dad's 30th school reunion.
I can't say that I enjoyed myself, but your dad did. He saw lots of people that he went to elementary school through high school with. It was just awkward for me but that's ok.
The 4th of July was fun. We went to see Tim & Jess's house that they are buying. It is absolutely beautiful! After that, we went to the movies and saw "Inside Out". It is the new Disney movie. I really enjoyed it. Gpa fell asleep and started snoring (and NOT quietly). ha,ha. I had to jab him to wake him up. lol Then we went to the Powell's 4th of July party. It was nice, we got to swim and eat bbq and light off fireworks.
Then today, Danny was blessed. Tim did an awesome job blessing him. It was beautiful!
So, the Expedition is having issues. I don't know why we take it…the last time we took it we ended up stranded for Thanksgiving (remember?). We got a hotel and we will have it looked at tomorrow. We are then supposed to go up and spend the time gma and gpa Porter. Cindy took gpa Bill home with her. I hope the rest of our trip goes well!! We are at Jess & Tim's. We are celebrating dad's birthday. Jessica made Italian appetizer bread and tortelini salad..oh it was good!! We will have cake and ice cream a little later. (we are all in a food coma right now!)
Well, I sure love you! Always remember who you are! Know that I love you beyond measure! Mind your p's and q's. And be strictly obedient!
