Hey Sweetpea
I got wonderful news, I got your itinerary. Sweet huh? I hope it is alright, but we have invited Sally to come to the airport with us. Let me know if this is ok.
We had a great meeting in church today. Dad gave a talk. I am going to mail it to you because it was AWESOME!!! It actually helped me a lot! It was on "How does Christ see my faith". Anyhow, all the studying that dad has done, and shared with me has really given me a different perspective. It actually felt good going to church today. Brother Murdock came and spoke too (Dry Council meeting). Anyhow, he was bummed that you are coming home a week too late to go to Aaron's Camp. I told him that he could ask the Stake President to ask your Mission President if you could come home a week early so you could go. Not sure how that would all work out, but just wanted to give you a heads up. If it could happen, would you want to? I guess they are trying to arrange it with Chip too. The young men are so excited for you to come home. It is sweet.
I gave your old suits away to the Webb family. The younger son (Boyd I think) is built just like you and his suit has been too small for some time. So, I asked if they wanted it and they were ecstatic. Sister Webb kept saying how grateful they were--they are trying to get Spencer ready to leave and they could not afford to get Boyd one. I was a little embarrassed at how she kept thanking me. Anyhow, it felt good.
I also did another good thing today…I have a fellow nursing student--who is now a nurse, who was not treated well by the other nurses. He is small of stature and looks weird. I guess he has been turned down for many jobs. He finally got one, and he was in need of a thermometer and a blood pressure cuff. Well, I was nice and I gave him one of our good thermometers. He came by today to pick it up. He also was very grateful. He has such a sweet heart, but like I said, he doesn't look "nice" I should grab a picture off of FB to show you.
This is actually a good picture of him and his niece. He doesn't always look so good…He makes dad look tall…ha,ha. Anyhow, it felt real good to help him out. Who knows, maybe someday, I will be able to get him interested in the gospel…one step at a time!
So, Tiffany and I are leaving on Tuesday to go to Jessica's house. TT is on Spring Break and some am I (from school). I have to work on Monday and will be too tired to leave then, so it will have to be Tuesday. I am excited to be able to see Danny!!!! and Jessica…ha,ha
Danny will be 1 next month…can you believe it???
His B-day invitation…
Another FB post…It's laundry day!!! Danny loves laundry day because he gets to ride the rolling laundry basket around the house and help me fold laundry (by unfolding everything)
I thought you would like to see those pictures.
I sent you a box…it is an Easter/Conference box. I hope you enjoy it. :) Well, I need to get stuff ready for work in the morning…this getting up at 5am to be ready to be at work at 6am is a killer…I still have to make my lunch. I hope you have an awesome week!
I sure LOVE you!!
Love, Mom
