March 27, 2016

How's it going?  I have to admit, I am EXHAUSTED.  My quick trip to Jessica's house about did me in.  We left Tuesday morning around 4:30 am.  We had to beat the storm coming in.  We ended up getting a little bit of snow the last part of our journey in Wyoming.  Danny is so ADORABLE!!! Here he is playing with "Aunt T"

Jessica and TT bonded too.  While Danny was napping, they "arted" together.  It was fun watching them work together with TT giving hints to Jessica.

Grandma trying to keep Danny warm while we walk to the car in the wind.
Just because he is so darn cute
I felt as though I bonded with him.  He is always happy.  He has a quick smile that goes all the way to his eyes.  Can't wait for you to meet him.  He is crawling all over the place and is standing up next to things.  He walks behind a toy--then forgets how to get down, ha,ha.  Jessica is doing well with this pregnancy so far.  They said that the lower part of the uterus is real thin (from her c-section with Danny).  We are praying that it will thicken up some so that she can try to have a vaginal birth, which would allow her to have the number of children she wants (4 or 5).  If she has another c-section, she will be lucky to get 3 or 4.

We babysat for Tim and Jessica on Thursday night so that they could go to the temple.  We took Danny with us to meet Aunt Kim.  We ran out of time and were unable to see Uncle David.  We met for dinner.  Her 2 girls are WILD! She does not do a good job at watching them either--made me nervous when she let them run out into the parking lot when we left…UGH!  I don't think it helped that our food didn't arrive until about an hour AFTER we ordered it.  Not too fun!  Danny was happy the whole time.  I think Jessica was worried that he would cry the whole time--nope, didn't happen, he was with Grandma!

Ryan drove down on Friday. It was nice seeing him.  I was a little upset at how Jessica and Tim treat him.  They ignored him and made him feel that he was not welcome.  He had planned on staying the weekend, but decided to leave on Saturday as well--he went up and saw Grandma and Grandpa Porter and then spent the evening and night with Aunt Cindy and Carl.  He seemed much happier.  He has been having a tough time at work.  His client/patient has been a real handful!  Siera couldn't come with him because they are close to finals and she is too busy--besides, toting all her painting stuff would not be fun.  I think Jessica and Tim feel as though she doesn't like them.  Oh well!

We left around 4:30am on Saturday to return home.  It had snowed quite a bit while we were gone, so we were worried about getting home.  I just wanted my own bed and your dad, so we left.  Someone was watching out for us!  We got a few flurries, but nothing major--no problems driving!  We made it home around 3:00pm.  It was so good to be home!

Now, I have to go back to my busy schedule--which I sort of like!  I just wish I wasn't so tired! Maybe I will adjust and won't be so tired soon!

We had a nice Easter.  Sacrament was wonderful--basically all the singing was.  I was disappointed in the talks (probably my fault).  I did enjoy Sunday School and Relief Society.  We didn't really celebrate the holiday like we normally do--no Easter Basket, candy, ect..  We did have a nice dinner though.

Well, I have to get up real early in the morning, so I am going to go to bed.  I sure love you!  I hope you enjoyed your box!  I look forward to conference next week!  I love hearing TRUTH!

Love you lots!
Mom
P.S.  where should I send dad's talk to? (address)
