Soooo…you don't like writing to me huh? ha,ha. Tiffany didn't "Tell" me! Too bad, you still have to write to me. ;)
I have to tell you about today first. Yes, it was fast Sunday! First Spencer Web bore his testimony about getting his mission papers in. I guess he has been really struggling, adversary is really working hard on him. He is determined to go through with it all! Then Jake Green got up. He confessed that he had decided to go to school for a year before going on a mission. Then he ended up having a dream, where the Lord told him that he needed to "Feed My Sheep" and now was the time. When he woke up, he realized he HAD to go on his mission. I was so impressed. I talked to him afterwards and he told me that you were a big influence in his life. I told him that you would be home in June. He got real excited. He said that he put his availability for July 1st. I thought you would like to hear that.
This week has been LOOOOONG. Actually, it started Thursday. I had to work Thursday and Friday, 12 hour shifts each. I did total care, while the other nurse sat and read a book. Basically, she was there "just in case". I had to change the trach out by myself…it was a bit scary, but I did it.. I also had to change all the tubing--that wasn't so bad. Working from 6am- 6pm with NO real breaks is difficult! Then Saturday, I worked from 6am - noon, the only difference, was that I was "flying solo." It wasn’t too bad, I am still not sure of myself, but oh well. The mom wanted me to stay all 12 hour and I said NO. I have to work again tomorrow, Monday, all by myself! Then the rest of the week will be spent doing homework. Unfortunately, I have a cold now. I think it is from stresss and little sleep. Oh well, hopefully I will get comfortable and the stress level will go down.
Dad is doing a little better. He is still miserable at work, but I believe he is finally starting to sleep. I just hope things with him get better! Oh and Tiffany will be going to BYU Idaho in the Fall. So yep, she's on the Fall/Winter tract. We already got her apartment, on campus. I think she is excited!
Well, I love you and I am proud of you!
Love,
Mom
