Ryan was home for the week. It was nice to have him here, and nice to have him leave..ha,ha. Not because he was irritating me! It was because it was hard to get my homework done with him here. I was easily distracted!!! ha,ha My test Thursday went alright. I ended up with 44/50 which is an 88%. I guess the class average was 82 or 84% (can't remember). At least I passed. I have another test this Thursday...UGH! Hopefully it won't be as hard since there is not as much material that was covered (only 2 days worth). So, if you think about me on Thursday--say a prayer for me!!! :)
So, Ryan and Siera took Tiffany out shopping. They got her some really cute shirts and a skirt. Then they (Siera) told her to get "skinny" jeans. Yesterday, we went and got her some--they are more like leggings that look like jeans. Anyhow, they make her look great! It was like it woke her up a bit, and she seemed excited to look good! She went to a church dance last night. I wish I would have taken a picture!!! She looked really good! When she got there, she found out that it was casual and FREAKED OUT! I was a good mom and brought her some pants. I think she had a good time. She hung out with the guy who moved in on Nectar (I think she has a crush on him). I am glad that she enjoyed herself!
So, Tuesday night, Ryan proposed to Siera (Not sure if I am supposed to tell you). Anyhow, he talked to Brother Trujillo and got his blessing, then he asked her sister-in-law to hide up where he was going and take pictures. Well, they got up there (sorry, don't remember where it was...maybe Green Mountain Falls...don't know where that is). He proposed and she said "I don't know". So, needless to say, they are NOT engaged! However, Ryan actually thinks that it was a good thing. It was kind of like the "white elephant" in the room before...he really couldn't talk about marriage with her. Now that the proposal happened, they can talk about it. Ryan thinks that they are actually closer because of it! I admire her for not caving in and just saying yes because he asked. They still hung out ALL week long! I do believe that eventually they will be engaged and married. I don't think Siera wanted to be engaged when she got back to school. She is only 19 and did not want to be "one of those girls". ha,ha. I think it will happen when they come back after this semester...so in July or August. Don't say anything...I don't want him mad at me!
So, Ryan left yesterday (Saturday). He got up to Cheyenne, Wyoming and discovered that I-80 was CLOSED! He freaked out a little bit. I told him to call Gpa since he does all the travelling. I guess they found out that I-70 was also closed. That did not go over real well! ha,ha. Anyhow, they ended up going straight up north into Montana...then back down into Idaho. Ryan said that it was a rain/snow mix all through Wyoming and once they hit Montana, it was CLEAR! (Prayers are answered). He made it to Rexburg aroung 11pm.
Jessica is doing good. She is down to less than a month before her due date. Say extra prayers that she will not go into labor before her due date. She really wants me there for the birth, and I can't leave early due to my final! So, here is your weekly picture. I think she has dropped, if you look at her tummy, he seems to be sticking out farther and is not so high up. We have had that weird weather lately...you know, HOT then snow!?! So, she was showing that off. She still looks stinkin cute!
So, a member of the bishopric just came over. I am to have a new calling. I will need extra prayers for it! I will be the ward chorister. Yep, I will have to get up in front of everyone during sacrament. UGH. I am not sure when they will actually give me the call, I think because they are not sure when the person I am replacing is leaving (military, being re-stationed). I am okay with waiting. I am sure the Lord will bless me for accepting the calling. It's like your dad says..."you don't have any problems with the actual physical/mechanical aspects of this call---but it sure will be a big emotional trial for you." Like I said, I have the Lord on my side! If I ever want to be myself again, I must keep moving forward!
Well, that was the week in a nutshell...nothing real exciting. I sure love you and I am so proud of you! Work hard! Know that you are not alone!
Love ALWAYS!
Mom
