Hey Sweet Baby Boy! Did you get transferred??
How's my most favorite missionary? I hope you are doing well! How close are you to the fires? It seems as though the whole west coast is on fire. We have been feeling the affects of the fires here believe it or not! It has been so smokey here…most of the time, you can't see the mountains--oh and we don't have any fires here in Colorado that I am aware of. The news says it is from the fires on the west coast! I hope you are handling it well.
School starts for me tomorrow. I am excited and a bit apprehensive! I think it will be good to be busy, but I hope it isn't too much with Gpa. He officially starts doing laundry tomorrow. :) He said he would keep our laundry going. He won't fold it, but he will get it all washed. At least that will be one less thing to worry about! I also got 16 crockpot freezer meals put together. Basically, all I have to do it get it out of the freezer and into the crockpot. Some meals need rice or noodles as a side, but that will be simple. Gpa and Tiffany will be in charge of Mondays and Tuesdays since I will be in the hospital those nights. I also worry because the house has really suffered, it seems as though no one cleans…but me, and I haven't been doing it!
Ryan and Siera did another garage sale this weekend. They had a few people donate to their cause and they were able to sell a lot of stuff. I think the 2 weekends grossed them over $1100…not too shabby. Now Ryan just needs to find a job. He has done a lot of applying. He has 2 interviews tomorrow, but I don't like either company…they are sales, where he would work off of commision. He can't afford to do that. So, he said that he will go for the "interview" experience. Just pray that he gets a job SOON!
Tiffany's first week of school went pretty well. She was able to come home, have a snack and start of homework. She has been studying every day for the test she has on Wednesday…it is in Zoology. It is called a phylogenetic tree. She has to know all the stuff on the worksheet. She has been trying to write the tree from memory at least 2 times a day. She says that she knows over 1/2 of them. I believe if she keeps the practicing up, she will ace the test. We had her switched to the other AP Art class. The teacher that she was assigned to didn't think Tiffany should be in her class. I felt that Tiffany would not succeed. We even considered taking her out. The other teacher (sorry, don't know the name) was the one who wanted her in the class. She helped Tiffany switch to her class. I believe she will give Tiffany the support she needs…especially since she has never taken an art class. We are actually going to meet with the teacher on Wednesday. I guess she told Tiffany that she would show us WHY she should be in AP Art!
Well, it is getting late. I am sorry I didn't write sooner so I could write more, but I have to get up early in the morning. I am praying for you!
