Why hello there.   How are you?  I have been very busy.   Dad and i switched places and i ended up driving ryan to school.  We were supposed to leave on Thursday but the forecast said we would encounter snow so we left on Wednesday.   We drove all the way to Evanston,  Wyoming.   We got a hotel and spent new years eve sleeping.   We got up new years day and started driving.   We decided last minute to stop at gma and gpa porters house.   I am so glad we did.  Gpa had heard that morning that his brother Rell died.   He took the news well. I guess he had a stroke 2 weeks previously.   We spent about an hour there, then continued on to Rigby...where aunt Cheryl lives.  We moved Ryan in on friday and went shopping for supplies.  Julie and Jordan tagged along.   It was nice seeing them.  I believe Jordan was not happy that Ryan has a girlfriend.   Oh well. ..I really don't want any of my boys to may her.

Ryan has 3 roommates, one is from Hawaii...that is his room roommate.   I did not meet the other 2.  All but 1 are returned missionaries.   1 of them got off his mission 2 days before arriving. Hopefully Ryan will write and tell about them.

I leave in the morning to go home. My flight leaves at 6:30am. Which means we have to leave by 4:30 am.  I am writing on my tablet so this will be a short letter. ..I hope that is alright.   I promise to do better next week.  

I want you to know that i am proud of you!  Always remember who you are.   Mind your p's and q's. Be strictly obedient! Play as hard as you work.   Know that I love you beyond measure! !!!!
