Hey Sweetie! How's it going? How is your new area? Tell me about your companion. I sure hope he is better than your last companion! I have been praying for you!!! I am sure things will be as they are supposed to be. Are you the district leader in your new area? So many questions huh?
Anyhow, I found out that my schedule will be more hectic than I origionally thought..especially this week! UGH! I have clinical on Monday and Tuesday from 1pm - 11pm. I did not think it was going to be that late! I am a little concerned since I really am a morning person. I am attempting to stay up late tonight, but it is only 7:30 and I am already yawning! Wednesday, we have an IV lab from 9 am until 4 pm. We will get a refresher on starting IV's and working with central lines (they are the ones that basically go straight to the heart) I find that a bit scary! Anyhow, I guess most of it is review, which will be good…just LONG! Then I have lecture on Thursday and Friday from 9 - 12. Oh also this week, I have a test in my on-line class, a paper to write and 2 assessments to do (which includes the write up). It is daunting, but with the Lord all things are possible :) Plus we don't have another lab until the end of the semester…at least it is not every week!
So, wanna hear what a stupid brother you have?? (he may get mad at me for telling you…) I guess last weekend he took a drive with some girls (can you tell that this is not looking good???) He decided to go "drifting"…I had no idea what this was, and I really don't understand it now, but it is basically when you are driving, you put the emergency brake on and "drift". Well, he lost control and ended up hitting the hill/dirt on the side of the road AND broke 1/2 the front bumper off. I am not going to lie, I was pretty upset, then I found out tonight while I was talking to him, that if he had lost control the other way, they would have gone down the hill…ugh! Stupid boy! I wish we had not given him the opportunity to have the car…he would have been just fine without one! He already has a new bumper on it and he has painted it…he said it is a little bit darker than the rest of the car--probably do to sun (that's his excuse). Anyhow, I am not a happy camper. I will admit that I am happy that he and all the girls in the car are safe!
Jessica has been at the Powell's this weekend. I guess Bro and Sis Powell went on a cruise and she stayed home with Morgan. She really missed Tim, but I think she enjoyed herself. She had an appointment with the Dr. and the baby is doing good. Her pregnancy is normal. She has gained a bit of weight (like 42 pounds----shhhhh) I feel so bad for her when she takes pictures of her poor feet…here, I'll show you…
So…guess where we were….
So, here is what we call "ice cream art"… Tiffany wants to know if this counts as her "art for the week"?
Well, I hope you have a GREAT week! We are all praying for you! Oh, Easter is coming up…what would you like for Easter? Would you like a basket? Would you like stuff in it? If so what?? Also, I will need your new address so I can send stuff to you. :)
Know that I love you beyond measure and that I am so proud of the man you are becoming!
Love ALWAYS!
Mom
