Hey Sweetie,
How's it going?  I am sorry I missed writing last week, we were traveling back to Colorado.  I have grandpa back at home.  It was an uneventful drive.  I enjoyed my time with him!

Gpa went to the dentist on Tuesday and got his teeth tightened (I guess they were loose).  I had my physical…basially I was told that I am healthy (woo hoo). I waited and went to the Dr with Ryan.  He is being started on a new medication.  They are starting to think that he has Bipolar disorder.  He is on new meds.  I can't wait until they kick in.  I think he will need to be on more medication…it is not easy adjusting to this medication.  Please include him in your prayers!

Grandpa has been complaining about not being able to breathe very well and he has had "pressure" on his chest.  He has also been getting dizzy.  I was thinking that it was probably high altitude sicknesss.  I listened to his lungs on Saturday and they had crackles (meaning it could be pneumonia).  So I made him go to the emergency department to get checked.  They made sure he wasn't having a heart attack, they did an xray of his chest--that was clear.  One test suggested that he had may have a blood clot in his lungs.  They took him to get a CT scan.  It was negative for a blood clot.  They did see some sort of mass in his lung.  At first they wanted to admit him so that he could get more tests.  They ended up letting him come and they will call tomorrow for more tests.  They want to make sure that the aortic valve that they replaced is still working (there is a possibility that it is having problems).  So, He will get an echocardiogram, which is basically an ultrasound of his heart.  They will also do a bronchoscopy, where they put something down his throat and into his lung so that they can get a biopsy of whatever is in the lung.  I will let you know the results.

FYI…it can still be high altitude sickness, or even anxieties.  So, don't worry until we know what is going on.

TT is doing real well!!  Her meds and counselling are working real well.

Dad was released as the ward employment specialist.  He will now be a primary teacher.  I think he is secretly excited about it.  He has always loved working with kids.

Well, I am so tired, I can't think.  I sure love you!

Love,
Mom
