Hey Chris!!!
I sent you 2 boxes. One of them has the Christmas tree in it. It is a long tall skinny box wrapped in duct tape. Try not to mess up the box…then you can put the tree back in and send it back home if you don't want to lug it around with you. The next box has your Christmas presents. You are welcome to the stuff in your stocking…but do not open your presents until Christmas :) Oh, and I sent them both to the Mission home since I didn't know where else to send them. Let me know when you get them. :)
How are things going? I hope you are real busy with the Lord's work! How are things with your companion? I remember having companions that were "testers". I have never been very good at patience, but….I do think I was able to increase my patience with each of those companions. Sad part is…most of my companions were "testers". There were really only 2 maybe 3 that were not "testers". I do think that those "testers" helped me with my marriage. It is still hard, but well worth it! Those lessons that I learned on my mission were invaluable!!! I would not trade them for anything! So, keep your chin up…and keep one foot in front of the other :) You will make it (I did!)
So, good news!!! I got an official letter stating that I am back in the Nursing Program! So, I start full time again in January. It is a little scary, I start with Psych…I will have my clinicals at the state mental hospital that is in Pueblo. Yep, 2 days a week, I will be going to Pueblo. I plan on taking the recordings of my lectures and listening to them. If that isn't helpful, then I will listen to the scriptures or conference…what do you think?
Oh and Gpa and Ellen are now in Arizona…far from me!!! ha,ha. Diana is so excited because Ellen leaves for Hawaii tomorrow (Monday) and won't return until after Christmas…I think the 27th. I have to admit that I am a little jealous that she gets gpa to herself without Ellen. That would have been wonderful! I don't think that the surgery gpa had on his back is helping. He is still in quite a bit of pain. He is supposed to go to a doctor some time this week to have the unit a little stronger. Pray that it will help him!!!
Here is a recent picture that Jessica sent to me. :)
Your little neice or nephew is growing. I think that this dress makes her look bigger than she really is…It almost looks a little distorted. ha,ha
Hey, I am sure she could use some extra prayers too. She is barely passing a class of hers. If she doesn't pass, she will not graduate. She has trouble staying focused…and she doesn't really feel that great. I really hope that she will pass! Oh, speaking of prayers for classes---I have my final in my Advanced Pharmacology on Wednesday, extra prayers for me would be helpful. If I only miss 4, I can get a B. I am just hoping that I will pass the class! So much for my good GPA! So, don't forget about me on Wednesday!
Our ward christmas party is Friday. Ryan and I are singing a small part in the program (not at the same time). I am a little nervous. Part of me would love to back out. I am forcing myself to do it though. Other than last week, I have been staying for all of my church meetings. I can't say that it is a whole lot easier, but I am working at it! I hope that one day it will be like it used to be. :)
Well, I am tired, I was studying and forgot to write until I got into bed…so I grabbed my computer so that you would get a letter. :) I am so proud of you! I know that it is not always easy, but I promise that it will be worth it!
Always remember who you are! Mind your p's and q's. Be strictly obedient. Play as hard as you work! Know that I love you beyond measure!
Love ALWAYS!
Mom
P.S. Can't wait to Skype you on Christmas. Would you like me to set up an account in your name so that you can Skype me?
